Ingredients:
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)
Instructions:
Combine & serve
Toss spaghetti with the sauce or plate pasta and spoon sauce on top. Finish with grated Parmesan.
Cook the pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cook the meat
In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until soft (about 3–4 minutes). Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Brown the beef
Add ground beef and cook until fully browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
Add sauce
Pour in marinara sauce, add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir and let simmer for 10–15 minutes.
