Ingredients:
- 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- 1 cup fresh spinach (or frozen, drained well)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven
Preheat to 450°F (230°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it heats. - Prepare the spinach
In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for about 1 minute. Add spinach and cook until wilted (or heated through if using frozen). Season lightly with salt and pepper. - Roll out the dough
Stretch or roll your pizza dough into your desired shape and place it on a baking sheet or pizza peel. - Add the base
Spread ricotta evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust. - Top the pizza
Add the cooked spinach, then sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top. - Bake
Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly. - Finish & serve
Remove from oven, add red pepper flakes if desired, slice, and serve hot.
